Terms of Service
Effective October 17, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and WahleTec LLC, an Alabama company ("we", "us"). They cover SupperSecret: suppersecret.com, the app at suppersecret.app, and the Android app when it ships. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Food safety and allergies
Please read this part.
SupperSecret is a planning aid. It is not medical or nutritional advice, and it can't see what's actually in your food. It can make mistakes, including leaving an allergen in a plan, misreading a recipe or a photo, or listing the wrong ingredient. The meal-planning assistant uses AI, which can be confidently wrong.
You are responsible for what you cook and serve. Always check ingredients and package labels yourself, especially for anyone with a food allergy. Follow safe food-handling and storage guidance. Freshness suggestions in the app are estimates, not a guarantee that food is safe to eat.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Use an email address you control, and keep access to it and to your devices secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us right away at hello@suppersecret.com if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
Households
A household's recipes, plans, lists and people are shared with everyone in it. Anyone you invite can see and change all of it, so only invite people you trust with that. You're responsible for having permission to add information about other people, such as their names and allergies.
Early access
SupperSecret is new and still changing. Features may be added, changed or removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We back up household data, but we recommend exporting your recipes now and then.
Subscriptions and the free trial
These apply once billing starts. We'll tell you before then.
- A subscription covers one household, not each person in it.
- New households start with a 30-day free trial. Before it ends, we'll tell you what the subscription will cost. You won't be charged unless you choose a plan.
- Subscriptions renew each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and it takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial periods, except where the law requires it.
- Plans may include a monthly allowance for the AI assistant. When you reach it, the assistant pauses until the next period or until you change plans. The rest of the app keeps working.
- If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
Your content
Your recipes, photos, notes and plans are yours. You give us permission to store, copy and process them only as needed to run SupperSecret for your household. That includes sending them to our service providers, like the AI model provider, when a feature needs them. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the time it takes for backups to expire, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Only add content you have the right to use. Importing a recipe from a website or cookbook for your own household's use is the kind of thing SupperSecret is for. Republishing other people's work through it is not.
Acceptable use
Don't use SupperSecret to break the law or anyone's rights, or to upload anything harmful or abusive. Don't try to access other households' information, overload or interfere with the service, or get around usage limits. Don't scrape it, resell it, or use the AI assistant for things unrelated to your household's food.
Ending your use
You can stop using SupperSecret and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. When we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your recipes. If we ever shut SupperSecret down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export everything.
Disclaimers
SupperSecret is provided "as is" and "as available." As far as the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its suggestions will be accurate or suitable for your needs.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim about SupperSecret is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Alabama. You and we both agree to those courts' jurisdiction. If you live in a place whose consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim where you live, nothing here takes that away.
Changes to these terms
If we make a significant change, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using SupperSecret after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.
Everything else
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about SupperSecret.
